Me: What did you do when you was on holiday then?
7 year old boy: I went booby watching.
Me: (reaction) What you are 7 years old!
(7 year old fighting with his brother!)
7 year old: I have a bigger one than you anyway so shut up! (To his older brother).
Me: What do you do when you are out?
7 year old: I just go out with my girlfriend.
Me: Go out and do what?
7 year old: I kiss her and ...
Me: and what?
7 year old: you know...
Me: (my reaction again) What you are 7 years old.
7 year old: So I do do sex education at school you know.
Or
5 year old: Look at me!
(I looked)
(She pulls her skirt up high and makes top above her belly button)
5 year old: Don’t I look sexy?
Me: (My reaction) You are five...seriously? Where on earth did you earth that?
Children back in the day used to actually live there youth more. Now the more technology progress and with the big help of the media children just seem to want to live adult lives such as a lot of them think it is ‘cool.’ The thing is that I personally think is that children should live appropriately and probably people should be more careful of what they expose youth to such as behaviour and media as it really does have a big impact on youth’s actions today.
Well firstly what does youth mean exactly? My interpretation of youth means childhood through to adolescence. For many it is the time period that determines the rest of their life. This is the main reason I think it is particularly important the people realise that it a very important stages of life and should not be wasted then regretted.
Today a lot of youth seem to smoke, drink, diet, take drugs, have plastic surgery and we even have some 14 year old toy boys etc. Is this really the ideal ‘youth’ in our society? Smoking; bad for your health of course. Why not start in the early days then as it might make me seem more ‘cool.’ Drinking alcohol; adults do it so why can’t I? So what it kills my brain cells although I have not had them for long anyway? Dieting; I am young and I have baby fat! It would go as I grow. I would love to look ‘perfect’ although I know that there is no such thing as perfect and I may not need a diet. Taking drugs; well everyone else is doing it so I don’t want to not fit in although I know it is bad for my health. Plastic surgery; Everyone has faults such as when some people are younger they want to look older and when those same people get older and they and lived and damaged what they had they want you look younger. Even though should the youth without injuries or major concern be able to have plastic surgery even though their bodies may still be growing and changing their features. Also should plastic surgery be allowed when observing by environmental factors the youth do not try and help themselves (appearance) instead of taking the easy way out? Obviously not all children do these things above. The ones that don’t are now seen as ‘innocent’ and sometimes ‘nerds.’ I mean since when did taking your life as it comes step by step become ‘nerdy’ or since when did it become unpopular to be ‘innocent’ or surprising?
The point is that one a person lives they cannot re-live what has already happened therefore people should appreciate what they have and work with it at present as when you are a adult you would not have anything to look forward to and when you are a child you grow quickly and time seems to go so fast so enjoy it while you have can and take every good opportunity worth it.
Sorry people I jut noticed my mistakes.
