Have you ever lost someone?
Losing not necessarily dying but drifting away,
Could be out of stubbornness on a rainy day,
Regretted putting pride before beliefs,
Buried a relationship covered in wreaths,
Wish to turn back time
And undo mistakes of mine,
The longer this mess is not repaired,
The harder to fix if I dared,
Believe me in guilt I am fried,
Remembering your presence and honestly know it was wrong I lied,
Watched you crumble, covering everything up,
Never said anything, wishing you secretly good luck,
Undeserved treatment that you managed to pull through,
Centred my mind, I will tell you it is true,
Unfortunately growing our distance,
Of course gradually giving up on persistence,
Have now recognised no errors
That lies between opportunity sharers,
Was out of line, beyond control,
Heat of the moment please piece together the good willing soul,
The bitterness exited not welcomed or pain,
Apologises of selfishness as that is the main.
